When you choose an appointment, think about your dog or cat, their personality, their tolerance of new places and people, and your goals for their treatment.
For first-time patients:
A half hour (30-minute) session is good for dogs who are timid, or dogs and cats with 1 to 4 body areas that need work on any given day.
An hour (60-minute) session works well for dogs who are easy-going with new people and places, or dogs and cats with 4 or more body areas that need treatment.
For follow-up appointments, I and the pet parent will evaluate together how comfortable the pet seemed, future goals for treatment, and make decisions about the length and frequency of visits together.
